The SpringHill Suites generally receives positive feedback, lauded for its cleanliness, comfortable rooms, and convenient amenities like breakfast and a pool. However, recent reviews highlight concerns regarding inconsistent service, unresolved customer issues from past stays, and ongoing construction impacting the property.
Throughout our entire stay, we had a great experience. The front desk staff were courteous and efficient in checking us in. The rooms were spacious and exceptionally clean. The beds provided excellent comfort, and the towels were pristine and soft. Breakfast was included in our package, and it was hot and appetizing with a variety of options. The pool area was a highlight, clean and well-maintained, and the jacuzzi functioned perfectly.
I stayed here on my business trip and I was not disappointed. The room was very clean and cool as the days were extremely hot. I enjoyed that the bed was firm but not too hard. The bathroom was nice and clean. Breakfast was provided every day which included different pastries scrambled eggs and a breakfast protein with potatoes. I really enjoyed the coffee. They do have a pool and a hot tub which helps end a nice long day. I had a struggle with the elevator and I was told I needed to press the buttons harder for it to work. The only other negative was that the room was missing a smoke detector and one of the can lights was hanging from the ceiling. Overall I definitely recommend this hotel.
In May last year, water leaked from a ceiling sprinkler and soaked my luggage and all the equipment inside, causing significant water damage. I immediately reported the incident to the front desk and spoke with the manager, requesting compensation for the damaged equipment. At that time, I was told to wait because they needed to process it through their insurance. Now it has been almost a year, and the issue is still unresolved. The hotel manager has never returned my calls. Even when I leave my contact information, there has never been a callback. I have sent countless emails and follow-ups, yet I have never received a single response. The manager told me they would discuss the issue with the hotel owner and get back to me, but the owner has also never responded. What frustrates me the most is not just the damage itself, but the way this hotel has completely ignored a customer for nearly a year. I stay at Marriott properties more than 100 nights every year, and I have never experienced such unprofessional and disrespectful customer service. If this is how they treat guests when a serious issue occurs, I strongly recommend thinking twice before staying here.
Very good room, was not aware that they needed a physical debit or credit card for checking in. Especially since it was booked online so That was a bit stressful and the concierge was quite quick to offer to cancel the room. Once that was figured out, the room was okay (a kings suite), I noticed that under the couch was quite messy as well as the slide out bed being broken… unfortunate when we had guests that needed to use it. Found multiple toys, cards, and even food under the couch. So this quickly turned into a leave the room better than you found it situation. And there was leftover streaks and fabric from frayed rags being used while cleaning. Other than that all in all it was a good experience. The soap was lavender and eucalyptus which was very relaxing to use. The first shower I took was quite mid(the water was lukewarm at best) but then after I got back from dinner and hopped back in it was way hotter which made it so much better. They have an ice bucket and thankfully a very good ice machine. They serve breakfast in the mornings and it was decent. Update…. They then charged our card for a whole different day… the day after we checked out. They have given us the run around saying that their manager will be back at 10am, tell me how this is even possible. What an actual disappointment of a Marriott hotel.
Having a good experience here. Check in was a breeze, rooms were clean and comfy. Kids were comfortable on the beds as well. Good experience overall on a Holiday like Thanksgiving.
Wasn't expecting much for a 2 night stay. Disappointed with the lobby under construction. But the room was great. Comfortable. Breakfast was awesome. Didn't expect hot food, surprise! Definitely stay here again. We stayed over the Cinco de Mayo weekend, for my daughter's graduation for West Coast Baptist College.
First and foremost, when I checked in, I walked today. Elevator I couldn't believe that elevator was attached to anything to have the Marriott on it. Then you get upstairs to their room. S the hallways, the rooms, the restrooms, the Mary definitely need to attach their name. This room is trash and dirty. Even when it's clean , it's still a dirty.
Hotel was great. Clean rooms & comfortable beds. Besides the fact that no one answered the phone prior to arriving.. everything turned out smooth. The front desk workers are very professional & quick to help. Thank you! Rooms come equipped with iron board & iron, mini fridge and a microwave
We had to drop our son off at West Coast Baptist College (which is a ministry of Lancaster Baptist Church) and was hoping to have safe and cheap hotel, but we got more with these guys. Place was clean, rooms were large which accommodated my whole large family in one room. The price was so cheap that you wonder how they do it with so many good perks in this day and age with the price of things. By the way we found the cheapest price on Booking.com. Overall we couldn’t find much to complain about ?????. The staff and front desk were extra nice. Very uneventful stay but convenient. By the way if you’re looking for a good church we suggest Lancaster Baptist Church. Great group of people that serve a great God.
I checked into my room on Friday night with the best receptionist(Kenya) and by far she has been the best receptionist I’ve ever dealt with at any hotel out in Lancaster. The issues I’m about to report don’t have anything to do with Kenya because she tried her best to do with what she had. I had to change rooms because the first room was dirty and the next room was clean and spacious until my TV kept turning off and the sound was extremely loud. I called about the issue but it was never fixed until I decided to check out with the receptionist Esmerelda and her service was not polite and did not provide me with a receipt that I asked for. I would book with again only if the customer service is anything like Kenya because she was great.
