Recent reviews of the Holiday Inn Express reveal a mixed experience, with some guests praising the friendly and attentive staff, clean rooms, and convenient location. However, recurring issues include inconsistent service, bed bugs, billing errors, and issues with amenities such as slow internet and malfunctioning fixtures. Overall, the property requires attention to detail and improved operational consistency.
Got into the room, took my shoes off, stepped on a goat head. Room smelled funky. Shower smelled strong of mildew. Ac compressor rattled when engaged, had to sleep with ac off. Breakfast was out of most items, completely out of sugar. Do yourself a favor and just stay somewhere else.
Very decent place with good hot breakfast. My only complaint were the limited tv stations and flat pullout bed. Seems the movies were in Spanish and we had to use the couch cushions for better padding on the pullout bed. But otherwise very decent stay and I would not only recommend but stay there again.
I stayed here under Brianna Moringlane on Feb 14th-15th I had a bad experience due to having bed bugs in my room . I told three different cleaning ladies and they assured me I would have a new room they never got back to me . Never got new room . Also, I’ve called front desk for towel and not one person came to bring me towels I never would stay here again .
Rooms were clean and towels were fresh, white and clean. Yes this location needs updating but all is still in good working condition.
I recently stayed here 3 separate times within the last 3 weeks to help care for my Daddy. The front desk staff was beyond amazing and very, very kind. Though lovely gal Jess gave me a list of all peeps to thank, my scatterbrain can't keep them straight, but she, Anna, and Russel were the folks I saw the most coming and going. I felt they ALL were my "friends" while there when I needed to talk...they kindly listened. Jess even surprised me with a suite upgrade during my last stay, and I felt humbly grateful...still do. Art the maintenance fellow was awesome and kind as well. This hotel is blessed with an attentive, friendly staff including the breakfast and wonderful housekeeping folks. I slept like a rock in my lovely room(s), and will not hesitate to stay again. Quiet, safe parking, all good. Thanks, guys. Pam ??
I had to wait 30 minutes for the front desk person to return from his break and there was no one else available to check me in. When he returned, he told me he always leaves for break around 6-7pm and I just shouldn’t expect to be able to check in around that time. I told him I was surprised the front desk would be unattended and a different Holiday Inn employee standing next to us told me there were plenty of other hotels nearby I should stay at instead. Message received!
Good customer service, they do clean your rooms which is a big deal for me but the area is ok. Still family friendly. You get 4 pillows too btw.
I have sincere gratitude to the staff for their exceptional service. Their proactive approach in resolving the laundry issue and the provision of a late checkout were greatly appreciated during my work-related stay. If I am everyone in lancaster again definitely where I am staying
I haven't found or had a bad experience with any Holiday Inn yet. I really appreciate the truck parking
This is my first time leaving a bad review for a place. I have been coming to this location with my family a few times when I go visit my in laws. Most of my past experiences have been extremely positive. Unfortunately, my last visit has been a total disaster, and here’s why. First, We booked a room for a few nights under the impression that we were going to be charged the booking price of $366 for a total of two nights. However, when we got there, they charged us an extra $100 as a deposit in which we would get back. That was never mentioned before and has never happened with us in the past. Second, The room was clean and unkept quite well. Except that the tv wasn’t working and we had to let them know and the remote wasn’t working for the TV. Small inconvenience. Third, After our stay, we never received our deposit back and we were charged an extra $110 for damages. It was my wife’s time of the month and she didn’t realize that she bled through to the sheets. I requested documentation of the damages in which was not provided. I tried calling the supervisor and she was conveniently not available. Finally, I disputed the charges with my bank with proper documentation of everything and still was charged after receiving extremely poor service. It’s unfortunate because we love holiday inn and this is the first time we have been treated poorly.
